Find the right AI tool for the job in front of you.
Materix is an independent directory for solo developers, game-jam teams, hobbyists, and platform creators.
What we cover
We list AI tools that help game teams create assets, write code, develop ideas, localize content, and prepare a release. Every listing starts with a specific game-development job.
Two collections, one directory
Game-focused tools are built around game assets, engines, or production workflows. General-purpose tools serve a wider audience and appear here when their use in a game project is clear. Browse either collection or compare both within a task. A tool keeps one listing across every category.
What you can compare
Each listing starts with a practical use case and shows compatible engines, asset coverage, current access notes, official links, and constraints that affect a production decision.
How a listing is reviewed
We read the vendor's product, pricing, documentation, privacy, and terms pages, record the date checked, then keep vendor claims separate from our editorial fit notes.
Corrections and updates
Use the submission form to send a current official source. We check new entries and changes against official sources before publication. A saved reference confirms receipt. We recheck volatile pricing and access details as vendors change them.
What we do not accept
We do not publish unverified ratings, traffic claims, copied screenshots, anonymous promotions, or paid placement disguised as an editorial recommendation.
