TTS Lines
Browser AI text-to-speech with local preset voices, per-line regeneration, and audio and caption exports.
Two short English lines generated in the free editor. Editing and regenerating one line preserved the other clip; MP3, WAV, ZIP and SRT downloads were checked. Speech quality, other voices and engine import remain unverified.
Try TTS Lines on a small game task
Prepare temporary dialogue or narration clips for a prototype through a manual audio workflow.
- Write a short original script with one spoken turn per line. Choose local preset voices and pauses for the intended characters.
- Generate the lines and listen for pronunciation, pacing and speaker consistency. Edit and regenerate changed lines, then review the complete recording.
- Export individual MP3 clips or a joined MP3/WAV, plus SRT where useful. Check model and voice rights before distributing the audio, then manually place the files in the prototype or editing timeline.
Short English generation, single-line replacement and the four export formats were checked. Listen to the actual result and verify caption timing and your target engine's audio requirements; speech quality, other voices and engine handoff remain untested.
An editorial starting point to validate in your own project.
Where TTS Lines fits
Strong fit
- Preparing temporary character dialogue for a small game prototype
- Replacing one narration sentence while keeping the other generated clips
- Drafting devlog narration and captions for manual editing
Know before choosing
- First use downloads local models from Hugging Face. Startup cost, memory use and generation speed depend on the device, browser and connection; cached files may need to download again.
- The free script draft is stored in this browser; generated audio stays in memory until exported or the page closes. Keep your own script and audio copies. The Privacy page describes separate cloud processing and project storage for the announced Pro service.
- Supertonic 3 model and output use are subject to OpenRAIL-M restrictions, including disclosure of machine-generated content. Check the chosen model, voice and source rights before public or commercial use; this review does not guarantee commercial clearance.
- For Hebrew, MIT inference code and CC BY 4.0 components or reference recordings do not establish all BlueTTS model and output rights. The two beta male presets need clearer provenance and permissions before commercial recommendation.
- The test covered one local English preset and two short lines. Perceptual quality, pronunciation, speaker consistency, other languages, long scripts and low-memory devices were not assessed.
- WAV is a joined recording; ZIP contains separate MP3 clips. SRT has one cue per generated line, timed from clip duration and pauses. Retiming is needed after external audio edits.
- No native game-engine integration or developer runtime API was established. Files need a manual handoff; engine import and runtime behavior remain untested.
